Los Angeles Board of Taxicab Commissioners

Commissioner Kim Pattilo Brownson, vice president of the Board, is the associate counsel at the Advancement Project, where she focuses upon education and civil rights law. When she worked as an attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California, Brownson addressed legal issues surrounding children's education needs.

Commissioner Mampre R. Pomakian serves as an Associate General Counsel with the Office of General Counsel for the Los Angeles Unified School District. The second largest school district in the nation. He represents the School District in various employment actions, charter school related litigation, and writs and appeals.

Commissioner Josif Kahraman currently works at the Pacific Media Workers Guild, CWA Local 39521, and has worked for several local and national unions. He is deeply committed to developing rank and file leadership in local unions and building the labor movement.

Commissioner Sergio J. Siderman is the nation’s leading expert on disclosure laws pertaining to natural and environmental hazards. As CEO, he oversees the operations of National Disclosure Authority, a firm that provides hazard disclosure information to real estate agents, buyers and sellers.
