The Department’s Strategic Plan
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation
has developed a strategic plan that guides the organization
as it works to manage transportation in the City of Los
Angeles and supports the Mayor’s
transportation initiatives: convenience, reliability,
speed and safety.
LADOT’s strategic plan outlines a
vision, mission statement, goals and guiding principles
for the Department to use as it continues to improve transportation.
LADOT will achieve its vision – “A
vibrant city through enhanced mobility” – when
it fulfills its mission, which will be accomplished when
the Department reaches its strategic goals. LADOT will be
lead by a set of guiding principles throughout the process.
