The Department’s Strategic Plan
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation
has developed a strategic plan that guides the organization
as it works to manage transportation in the City of Los
Angeles and supports the Mayor’s
transportation initiatives: convenience, reliability,
speed and safety.
LADOT’s strategic plan outlines a
vision, mission statement, goals and values
for the Department to use as it continues to improve transportation.
Los Angeles will have a world-class transportation system that supports a high quality of
life in an urban environment with continued economic prosperity for the region.
LADOT is a leader in the planning, design, construction, and operations of
transportation systems in the City of Los Angeles and partners with sister agencies to
improve transportation service and infrastructure in the city and the region.
Moving Los Angeles Forward
