An Assistant General Manager leads the
Office under the authority of the General Manager. The Assistant
General Manager oversees three bureaus.
Bureau of Franchise and Taxicab Regulation
This bureau regulates private
transportation-related
companies in the city. Additionally, taxicabs
and ambulances are regulated.
Bureau of Parking Operations and Facilities
This bureau has oversight of parking permits, parking meters and City-owned parking lots
and garages.
Bureau of Planning and Land
Use
LADOT Planning and Land Use employees devise plans to alleviate
transportation shortcomings and review land use proposals
to evaluate and mitigate community impact.
