Celebrating Asian American-Pacific Islander Heritage Month

LADOT is proud to join in celebrating AAPI Heritage Month. L.A. is home to many immigrant and native-born communities with roots across Asia which have made countless contributions to the cultural fabric of our city. Follow along each week as we take a tour around the city and show you how LADOT can help you visit some notable sites demonstrating L.A.'s Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage.

Los Angeles' Department of Cultural Affairs has also compiled an excellent guide highlighting AAPI Heritage Month events happening around Los Angeles. Check it out!

CAPP Group Attends Homeless Connect Day

CAPP Group Attends Homeless Connect Day

The Community Assistance Parking Program (CAPP) team attended a Homeless Connect Day hosted by Mike Bonin's (CD11) District at the West LA Municipal Building. It was a free event that included employment services, mobile showers, clothing, and health services to just name a few. The CAPP team was able to engage motorists experiencing homelessness seeking parking citation relief through community service. The team was also able to network with other programs for potential future partnerships.
