Exciting projects are underway! LADOT coordinates with dozens of public and private organizations to build projects that improve mobility in your community.
You can also explore projects in list-view or map-view by category, program, or project status, by using our LADOT Livable Streets Projects Map.
Everyone deserves safe streets, but if cars are speeding on your residential street, you can apply for a speed hump to be installed. Before applying, please be aware that completing a speed hump request involves multiple steps of engagement and technical review. You should also know that due to LADOT’s limited budget, we can only construct a limited number of speed humps citywide. LADOT prioritizes requests based on technical feasibility and need.
Los Angeles is filled with unique and culturally important neighborhoods across the city. LADOT can help you recognize those neighborhoods and squares by installing neighborhoods signs. To request a neighborhood sign, please contact our district offices or your City Councilmember's office.
Colored curb zones are painted to indicate parking prohibitions or restrictions. Additional regulations may be posted on signs and apply regardless of curb color. Red, White and Blue curb regulations are in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week unless otherwise indicated by a sign..
Information about traffic advisories that affect street access within the City of Los Angeles will be updated here.
